Osman Bey's tribe is alarmed when the relics are stolen, and he confronts Lucas. The fight for Karadin Castle ensues with Begüm Hatun and Bayhan Bey vying for control, while Bala Hatun remains disinterested. Holofira, under Lucas's orders, arrives uninvited at the celebration, rekindling her love with Orhan Bey, who proposes marriage. Saruca and Yusuf compete for Fatma Hatun's affection. During Gonca Hatun's difficult childbirth, Begüm and Hazal Hatun clash, with Begüm accusing Hazal of poisoning her.
